Ice Skating

The COVA middle school hosted a Middle School skate day at EPIC ice arena. The whole family was welcome. Ethan and Teresa had not been on the ice since 2 days before Elayne was born!! Elayne needless to say had not ever been skating. Thankfully our dear sister Amy came - she used to teach young skaters! She had Elayne and Teresa skating alone in no time! Ethan remembered well enough and was soon speed skating along.

Elayne started out with a little trash can walker to get used to the feel of the ice.

But in no time Amy had taught Elayne to skate on her own. Notice Amy's daughter Hannah in the background skating circles around all of the Jr. High kids. She was the envy of the ice rink. She's THREE!

Getting more confident, though Elayne still liked playing with the trash can!
