Marshmallow shooters for Christmas

Our dear friend Caleb (and his mom as his accomplice) made all the kids in our community marshmallow blow-gun shooters.

My Favorite Books

Guardian King Series - This is a fiction story that is VERY powerful. It is my favorite by far. I am reading it for the second time with Melanie. There are so many paralells with the struggles of life, evil, choosing the Way, living the Way, and LOVE for God! I am being encouraged and built up in the Lord everyday in a deeper way through this series. It has even helped me to see scripture in ways I never have before. For example, when I heard a talk on the Parable of the Sower, I was able to pick out characters from this story that fit with each "soil type" and apply it to a life situation that was filled out.
Authority From God (How to kick the devil out of your life) - This book was fantastic. The biblical references to how Adam's fall gave Satan authority over the earth. Then Christ gave Himself as a final sacrifice to get back that authority - crushing Satan's power for good and FOREVER! Clearly written and strongly convicting! WE can COMMAND Satan to LEAVE! Forcibly, and with all power, because Christ gave us His authority to do so! WOW!
Strengthen Yourself in the Lord, by Bill Johnson - What a GREAT help and encouragement this has been for me! I am only on chapter 2 and it has already begun to lead me into a deeper relationship with God.
Walking with God - This book has been spectacular in our lives. Edward, Tonja, and Ethan are all working through it (and the workbook) together. It is helping us all to hear God clearly and to submit all in our lives to Him. We are all growing in our intimacy with God and closer to each other.
