Teenager!

It has finally happened! My Ethan boy has finally reached 13. He has such a precious heart and spirit. He designed his cake - The Lonely Mountain (from "The Hobbit"), and I helped him build and decorate it. I guess there is hope (or concern) that some things will never change! :)

Anyway, here he is with his finished product.

And now for the close up. 

He had all of his friends over. Nathaniel (beleive it or not) is only 7 weeks older than Ethan. He had fun "throwing" him around. 

Then they played a game of Apples-to-Apples.

They went out side and played tennisball-war-capture-the-flag (using snowballs instead of tennis balls). I missed getting those on film :(

Then it was back inside for cake. 

I am blessed to have a son who truly loves the Lord and desires to grow in maturity and love for God. I am also blessed, as is he, that he has great young brothers in the faith to share his day with! Thank you all for making his birthday special. We love you!
