What is Love - REALLY? - Part 3 (and the last, I think)

The goal of the church is (at least it is supposed to be) to make people MATURE in their love for God. To LOVE like Jesus loved(s). Remember, he suffered MUCH!! We must not only expect suffering in our love, but ACCEPT and ENJOY our suffering. If I am not enjoying my “suffering love,” then I am not remembering that GOD is IN IT. Suffering love leads to God and is all about fellowship with God.

We are FREE! We have NO guilt! We have no condemnation!

Do not believe the lies that the evil one tries to tell us. We are no longer in bondage to him, no matter what! Jesus is the strong man that has overthrown the enemy and vanquished all the forces of evil. We must also never forget that this kind of love is not something we can just go out and do. We must have the power of the Holy Spirit to love in this way. We must always remember that this is why He died. Our only part is to keep seeking the things above – set your minds on it – NOT on the things of this earth. This is the faith we are to live by. This is our forever freedom and the authority given to us by Christ.
